1. Mercy Aigbe
Popular Nollywood Yoruba actress, Mercy Aigbe was formerly married to her ex-husband, Lanre Gentry who’s a business man and a hotelier on the 19th of December, 2013. Though the couple got separated in April, 2018 after five years of marriage.
According to Mercy Aigbe, she said the left the marriage because she was constantly being assaulted by her husband. They had a son together before the marriage crashed.
2. Ini Edo
Renowned Nollywood actress, Ini Edo got married to her American-based ex-husband, Philip Ehiagwina on the 29th of November, 2008.
It was rumoured that Philip before his marriage to Ini was previously married to Nigerian- American model, Ruth Okoro.
The marriage crashed when Ini Edo walked out on the marriage following accusations of domestic violence and cheating in September 2014. The marriage didn’t produce a child.
3. Chika Ike
Popular Nollywood actress and business woman, Chika Ike was formerly married to her ex-husband, Tony Eberibe, who’s a banker at an elaborate wedding in 2006.
The couple got divorced after 7 years of marriage in 2013. The beautiful actress reportedly said she voluntarily walked out of the marriage after she was countless abuse on several occasions by her ex-husband. The marriage didn’t produce a child.
4. Tonto Dikeh
Controversial Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh’s marriage of two years to Olakunle Churchill, was considered as a perfect union from their traditional marriage on the 29th August, 2015 to their white wedding in Lagos in 2015.
Although, the marriage crashed like a park of cards in 2017. According to Tonto Dikeh in a video she shared on her YouTube channel, she said her ex-husband was involved in internet fraud and rituals. They had a son together before they separated.
5. Iyabo Ojo
Popular Yoruba Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo got married to a lagos-based marketer in 1999 when she was 21 years old.
Iyabo Ojo took a break from pursuing her career. She gave birth to a son and a daughter (born in 1999 and 2001 respectively) namely Festus and Priscilla Ojo, but she’s now divorced from their father.
6. Uche Elendu
Popular Nigerian Actress Uche Elendu was formerly married to her ex-husband and Owerri Millionaire, Walter Ogochukwu Igweanyiba popularly known as Prince Nku in January, 2012 in the city of Owerri, Imo state.
They got separated few years later, due to irreconcilable differences between them. They had two daughters together.
7. Kate Henshaw
Veteran Nollywood actress and fitness enthusiast, Kate Henshaw was formerly married to her British ex-husband, Roderick James Nuttal who’s the Managing Director of Ledrop Nigeria Ltd (agents for Jack Daniels and Piper Hiedsieck)
The couple were married for twelve years before the union crumbled in 2011. Reports had it that the divorce was as a result of infidelity against Kate by her husband. They had a daughter together.

Nollywood screen diva, Lilian Esoro was formerly married to a popular music executive and a business man, Ubi Franklin at an elaborate and glamorous wedding in Lagos in November 2015.
The marriage only lasted for a year before the couple got separated due to irreconcilable differences. They had a son together before they got separated.
9. Yvonne Jegede
Actress Yvonne Jegede was formerly married to popular Yoruba Nollywood actor, Olankule Fawole popularly known as Abounce on the 4th of February 2017. Although the marriage only lasted for a year before it crashed.
According to the actress, she said it was a mutual agreement between her and her ex-husband to go their separate ways. They both had a son together.
10. Juliet Mgborukwe
Actress Juliet Mgborukwe got married to her ex-husband Olakunle Chima Okokwu in September 2011, and separated in 2012, just a few months after their wedding ceremony.
At that time, Juliet said the marriage ended due to “irreconcilable differences”. In 2014, after lots of communication between the couple, they’re decided to give their marriage a second chance. But the marriage finally crashed in 2018, after the actress accused her husband of hitting her on several occasions.
